Game Overcooked! All You Can Eat! Is it a weird little time management game? In fact, this isn’t a game at all. It’s just a crazy food fight simulator that sees you managing your own food fight! Its bizarre design has generated a lot of discussion about its useless existence, but I think those folks are missing the point.
The Game Overcooked
The premise of this game is actually not that strange. Your job is to cook fake bosses for game purposes. Once you’ve done that and got him out of his cell, the chef’s job is yours. Pretty straight forward. The reason the idea of this game is that you don’t have to multitask in a certain amount of time is ridiculous, and actually fun. Instead of spending half an hour cooking fake chefs, spend half an hour doing something else.
The Problem with Game Overcooked! Is it trying to get you to work through a series of increasingly difficult challenges? At one point in the game, you will be tasked with building a pit of overcooked meat. You then have to continue cooking the meat by making campfires while fighting waves of zombies with field forks and baseball bats.
The Cuisine You Will Cook In The Game
Once you do, you’ll need to move on to baking the buns, which involves arranging the bread as you use it to punch zombies. As the level advances, more tasks are added to the original list. So instead of just moving from campfire to campfire, you have to complete a few other cooking tasks to advance to the next level.
What I think is the main problem with Game Overcooked! Do you have to actually play the game to order to enjoy it. The point of the game is not to spend twenty minutes trying to figure out how to cook four hamburgers while standing on a broken wooden plank. In fact, you should think about your health and try to stay alive instead of trying to score points. However, if you want to spend some time having fun, you can. The game may even end sooner than you expected because of the difficulty of the tasks you have to do.
Game Overcooked Difficulty Level
I don’t know if the developers paid attention to the difficulty level, but they sure left a lot out. Some levels can be a bit difficult. Especially when you have to make a campfire and cook raw meat over an open fire. Luckily, the developers included lots of helpful tips and hints that will help you through the game. Some have mentioned that this isn’t a game for everyone, but I guess that’s okay as you only have a limited amount of time to play it before you have to go back to the main menu. Regardless, I give Game Overcooked! Average rating based on the short length and lack of graphics, although I’m sure there are no flaws in the game!
