It was originally released on Xbox Live Arcade before being later re-released on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The single-player portion of Game Gears Tactics takes place within the map itself. And the game consists of a series of missions separated by time periods. Each mission is divided into sections, which are completed to complete the objectives. The first part of the mission is the most important because it is the longest. And the last one is the shortest. Mission lengths vary depending on the objective. With the shortest being ten minutes, the next taking fifteen, and the longest taking thirty. Most of the maps are not very large and only contain about a dozen to forty units of the same type.
Each goal is set differently and it is important to try and complete the objectives at all stages to progress through the game. If you’re not careful. You may get stuck at one goal and have to wait for another before you can progress. The enemies in the game don’t do anything to get in your way because you can kill them. So you have to pay attention to them to complete the objective. If you get stuck or are just having trouble completing an objective, you can also look at the screen on the time bar and try to figure out how long it will take until it expires and then take action to make it easier to complete the stages.
